I am going to try and be fair with this answer, unlike most of the people who answered this question along their Party Lines!
Even though the majority of votes for the War in Iraq, were Conservative...Many Liberals voted for it as well... so both sides should stop this blame game and try to come up with a plan together, to get The USA out ASAP... without leaving Iraq before we are sure that there is some type of guarantee, that Iraq can and will remain stable.
Though personally, I am against the War in Iraq, we are there now and just leaving Iraq with nothing solved is, in my opinion the wrong thing to do.
We went in and now we must finish what we started... or unlike many other Democrats, I believe it will hurt us more in the long run, to just pull out now.
That way, we won't have to do it all over again... at some point in the future!
Just because I am a Democrat, I do not follow The Party blindly! If I feel that Democrats are not handling something correctly, I will speak up. Unfortunately, not all people on both sides would do the same.
Instead of bashing one another, why not try some serious discussion on Yahoo Answers!
I can't believe most of what I read here...Sometimes it's like a preschool around here!
Our elected officials might have their disagreements but at least they know how to act like adults! Some people on Y A, project nothing but hate...Thank Almighty God that they are not part of our Government!

The Pubs THOUGHT they had the war spiffily planned out before they went into Iraq.
Sometimes good planning is just something that has to be worked out by "c"o"mpetent leadership when it is IN POWER to some degree. THE PUBS are occationally hoping the dems can make an equal kind of mistake before they even have a chance to be chosen on voting day.
Try asking the same question IF they(dems) have won a little power back. The Pubs are sccacreed shshttlssesss the dems will actually start kicking tham around on that question if Nov 7 happens to thaw the congressional fridge out. Hu hu Heuuuh.

the themes of immediately did no longer start up in this millenium, besides the undeniable fact that they could have been exacerbated by the final 3 presidents such by way of fact the single now in workplace. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have been doing their grimy deed of offering unqualified loans, decrease than Clinton. Union wages and the UAW have been making the U. S. vehicle industry non-aggressive against distant places vehicle makers for the final 4 many years. China has been stealing the U. S. commercial complicated on condition that positioned up conflict Vietnam. Now tell me, how did GWB and the GOP have its palms in all of that ? 0bama isn't responsible, he's is in simple terms over his head and can't get the interest achieved. it is going to take an administrative exchange, in simple terms because it did decrease than Jimmy Carter. could the yankee financial gadget proceed to go through, just to soothe the liberals and the Latinos ? i think of no longer !

Because they never had a plan and just can't seem to think of one they can make more money from. So if someone else comes up with a plan they like they will steal the idea. It seems to be really hard work for a conservative to think.

They have a plan. Its worked, i argue, relatively good in terms of any kind of historical comparison. It wasn't conservatives who got us into this war. Most liberal democrats in the congress voted to give Bush the power to go into Iraq, so you're just factually wrong. It might be nice to brush this off on people you don't like, but its just not the case.

You freakin' liberals want to run the show? You better, just for once in your freakin' lives, come up with a plan because no one has heard one of you come up with an original thought in 30 years. It's always the same with you cut n runners.
"Oh we want to lead but we don't want to plan for it. We don't know what were doing but we'll do a better job than the people who actually know what they're doing because we're more sensitive."
Problem is first time you get put on the hot seat you wet your panties in front of the whole world.

As I recall it was JFK and LBJ liberal presidents during Vietnam and it was a conservative in Nixon who got us out. Clinton bombed Iraq. Maybe if the military wasn't hampered by liberal organizations like the ACLU and the UN it could do what it takes without the fear of being put on trial.

As usual the answer lies in what Clinton did not what Bush did. Had Clinton taken out Saddam for shooting at our airplanes Bush would not have had to clean up another dummycrat mess.
