Oh I would feel awful! That saleslady is so nasty - and just because you and your mom decided not to buy the handbag until you've shopped around.

I've travelled to the Orient before, and some of my experiences there aren't that great either. But it really depends on where you shop, you know - the district. Alot of the times those people working at those outdoor markets or small concessions have no sense of courtesy and can be out right rude. The customer service is totally different if you go to some shopping centers, but then the price is alot higher.

I hope you didn't go back to that place to buy the handbag. Your mom is over 70 years old - the least that saleslady could have done was to be kinder to an elderly. That's so terrible! What a horrible experience for you and your mom! Don't go there again.

Hi. What an interesting story you tell. It makes me think of some of my own adventures with a woman that raised me. I thought of her as my mom. She and I would shop and it was always a happy memory.
