Another person sends me offline messages when i have ignore all except my friend how can this happen what can i do everyone except my friend is ignored on yahoo messenger this is becoming more frequent please help if you can .I try to help as many people as i can on Q& A esspecially poorer people who cant afford professional help .

There were some Messenger exploits (patched as far I know, but quite possibly new surfaced) which allowed to force add you without your approval. Yahoo treats separately from some time buddy requests which mean it is possible that someone has you on their list while you don’t have them on yours. Since you can’t ignore people on list (even if they are not shown) it is impossible to ignore intruder.
One way of checking if that’s the case, would be to add his name (to ignore list) manually and check is it stays on list afterwards. If it does everything is fine. If soon after ignoring it disappears from it – you have been exploited.
Another malware which I heard of existence is actually Trojan which allows to (among other things) force PM someone, popping PM window overrating Messenger settings.

From personal experience I know its much easier to deal with douche bags if you are able to convince yourself not to stuck to names…

When you check the option to ignore anyone not on my messenger list, be sure to click Apply, then OK.
