I got pregnant by my bf when I was 17. Up to that time his mom really did like me. But when I had my baby all of that changed. Mrs Wilson voiced many times that she doesnt think Brianna is Jeff's baby. I have only had sex with him & although I believe Jeffrey trusts me when we get in2 an argument her suspisions sometimes r expressed by him & I HATE that. She has not at all been in Brianna's life & is only focusing on what school Jeff is going to (he has pending football scholorships) not even taking into account that he has a 9 month old daughter & I cant get her 2 realize that. Im so heartbroken about this situation
b/c Brianna is a beautiful girl & I really think she needs to have her grandmother in her life, b/c although she has been a b***h she is a good woman. I have a very strong personality & Jeff doesnt, which is why I think that he is afraid to confront the situation period. This is really getting on my damn nerves & she better get in2 Brianna's life b4 its too late.

You know, I would write a letter to the woman saying some of the things you said here - minus the whole crazy thing. Explain that even though its none of her business, Jeff is the only one and Brianna is his. Then kiss some a** and tell her she is strong, and wise, and etc, and that you would like Brianna to experience that too. Be nice, use phrases like 'I would like to work this out with you so we can have a strong relationship again' and 'I know we've had our differences in the past, but I would like to work them out for Brianna's sake'.
If the letter doesn't work, I don't know what else to do. Good luck!

I understand what you are going through I had the mother of the father of my child tell me the same thing. Your man needs to stand up to his mother by not associating with her until she can treat you and your daughter with respect (by treating you with respect she is also showing respect for your daughter) I know it will be rough at first because his mom wont be able to control the situation but if he is persistent with it she will come around on that issue. I wish you the best with that.

not force anything. your daughter will learn how her grandmother is. picture the humiliation she will go through when your daughter ask her why she was never around.

You know we can't tell our mother-In law anything because they are always right. "YEAH RIGHT" IF she misses out on her granddaughters life then that's her bad..
