Isn't part of the reason you go to college to hear different viewpoints expressed by your classmates? Isn't there an advantage to hearing from people from all backgrounds and segments of society, or do you think it would be better only to listen to people just like yourself?

Depends on the context.... you must be aware of and sensitive to different cultures in order to make "good" choices in life.... how this applies to higher education depends on you.
