I just bought a Pacifica yesterday. It has the tire sensors and my husband says that usually if there are tire sensors then the tires are "drive flats". I'm hoping not, because that will significantly increase the cost of ownership. I can't find anything about it, so I'm guessing not, but does anyone know for sure?

Trust me, it does not have Run Flats. I am a certified Chrysler Technician of 7yrs. The sensors are only to measure tire pressure. the tires are just normal tires. when you need new tires, you can replaces them with whatever you want.

I don't know whether the Pacifica has run-flats, but when they are worn out you can replace them with a non-runflat tire, The sensors do not have to be used with a run-flat.
