They are as honest as they can be. Which is about as honest as Bush has been. He is so caught up in his own presumptuousness, he probably honestly believes that he told the truth about WMD.
I completely agree he should be tried for war crimes. But like all other white, upper class males who can afford the best attorneys, he will never do time for the lives that have been lost. There is such a thing as karmic payback, and I wouldnt want to be him.

You're full of beans. That's all you democrankie Liberals want to do is cut & run. You all have the delusional idea that you can sit down over coffee with these terrorists and talk them into laying down their guns and not killing innocents. Give them 5 minutes and they'll be sawing your head off just like they did to your pacifist brother Nick Berg.
I'll tell you why they are so persistant in their resistance. It's because they see that America is weak because of people just like YOU. You don't have the backbone it takes to force them to stop and the more you blubbering fools whine about it, the stronger they get.
I watched your forebearers do the same thing in Viet Nam and now it's happening all over again. You liberals love to point out that Tet was the turning point in the war. It sure was. We killed more of the enemy during Tet than the number of Americans they killed during the entire conflict but somehow you whining liberals turned that into a defeat and it cost us our souls.
Your big hero, John Kerry, the Winter Warrior, what a freakin' JOKE. A 4 month tour? Putting himself in for decorations that were intended for heros? Coming back to the states and making up the most vile lies and stories about the brave men he served with just to get some coochy from Hanoi Jane freakin' Fonda? How come that buttplug hasn't released his military records, HUH?
No, we can't stay the course with weak sisters like you crying into your oatmeal. You and those like you will be the end of this Nation. We'll all turn into surrender monkies just like your heros, THE FREAKIN' FRENCH.

Our military has done all it can do in Iraq, and the Iraqis want their occupation to end. I support bringing our troops home at the earliest practicable date, at a rate that will keep those remaining there safe on the ground. It's time that the White House and the GOP start working with Democrats in Congress to come up with a reasonable timetable for withdrawal and for handing the Iraqi government over to the Iraqis.

There are plenty more but it isn't worth the time. You know it is true.

Cut and run is a catch phrase that the repuglicans use to scare more folks into voting for them. It is like staying the course. It don't mean anything especially if George Bush says it and then changes the course. But change the course is what is needed and he better do something quick or he will have no party to talk to. People even congressmen are abandoning him, and his failed policy's.

I suppose it's a way of campaigning.
Like this. People like you are the good Americans and the other part of the country "THOSE people" is really strange and has nothing in common with you and they are so hard to understand and of course all they ever really really want is always the complete opposite of what you know is best.
It works both ways, incidentally.

Armed with the same intelligence as GWBush, votes from both sides of the isle were in favor of invading Iraq.
It is interesting that you bring up the fact that "cut and run" seems to be always associated with the liberals - and it's even more interesting that, more often then not, they don't deny that this is their intent.
Just what the hell is their plan? Is it a secret?

They are saying that because they are trying to intimidate and scare us into thinking, "oh America can't leave Iraq as losers because that would embarass us and lower our reputation in the world". The Republicans are all about 'saving face', pride, ego and being the neighborhood bully. They are afraid their manliness will get smaller if we admit defeat in Iraq and leave.

Unfortunately, lying is what they do best. As you say.. they lied us into this war and just haven't had time to think of a way to lie us out of it. What they will do tho, is leave it for the De ms to clean up and then take all the credit....

Bush does not care about running , he is not the one dying.
Patton said in war it is the job of the military to make the other dumb
SOB die for his country, Not for us to die for Iraqi people.
We are not dieing for democracy, we are dieing for Halliburton
contracts for Bush's uncle Prescott who owns big shares in
Halliburton. We are dieing for Exxon-Rockefellers.We are dieing
for Lockeed Martin missles.
Why? because these are the only industries left in the US that
Bush-Clinton have not sold out to China.
