Its that wonderful time of year for us seniors; its college application time!!! At this point, I have narrowed my choices of majors down to 3. This is going to be a series of questions, so if you recognize my name, pleas bear with me.

First of all, you don't have to decide now. That being said, if you want to do science, decide early, since physics is a good 4 years of courses after you decide to do it.

About 10 people from my liberal arts college got physics degrees. They went off to grad schools in biophysics, geophysics, applied physics, and astrophysics (that was me). You could also just get a job - there are a lot of job openings in research and developement for physicists. Or you could go on to grad school and do research or teach at the college level for a living. I plan to do research in astrophysics at a university.
