These are tips my teacher gave me, but I never used themself myself, because I'm lazy and I really suck at test-tasting (yet I somehow always managed to ace my tests. Eh, must be the work of Lady Luck). Any ways, here are the tips from my former high school math teacher:

-- Be calm.
-- Don't think you can pass the test, know you can pass the test.
-- Think before you answer.
-- Double check your answers.
-- If you don't know the answer, skip it. Move on to the next question.
-- If by the end of the test you still don't know the answers to the questions you skipped, than just go with your gut feeling for the answer. Remember: it's better to have AN answer than to have NO answer.
-- If you get a low grade, don't think of it as a failure, but as a learning experience.
-- Learn from your mistakes.
-- Tests are not races or competitions.
-- Tests are self-examinations. So prove yourself.
