I have opened up the options of reading the headers in my email and I read return path, but don't understand what the numbers mean. Can anyone explain how to read/ understand what it means?

Go to your mail box, click on "options" (upper right), to "General Preferences", to "messages", and under "Headers",check "Show all Headers", click on save changes at top or bottom. Now go back to your mail box and look at any "saved" or "sent" mail !
You"ll see where your mail came from!

Look at the left side of your EM (before you open it) and it will be a coll um called "Sender" that will tell you who sent it.

After you open it, at the top of the EM you will see a line that says "From" Next to it gives the senders name and address. Thats where it comes from.
