No, I never could. Nor could my kids. One son 1/2 way could, but gave up after awhile. I have 5 children too. I don't know if it has something to do with the genes or what. We are within normal weight limits, but my children are all tall. I have one daughter who is 6' tall. I think that may hinder somewhat on doing a cart wheel?? I don't know...

Yes. It's natural for some people, and it takes more work for others. It's normal if you can't do a cartwheel. Just stand straight. Then with your left arm, set it on the ground and push your body and you should end on the other side. You will need 2 hands so when you use your left, then set your right while pushing your body in that direction and you should be able. Practice makes perfect, such as I can't roll my tongue, but i'm practicing.
