i think jake is supposed to be some kind of special forces- is this true? i know there are spoiler websites out there, but i can't find any to answer this question- but please, no guesses, it's just driving me crazy and i want to know!!

i am going to assume he spent his time out of jericho in the army - some sort of special team - the black guy obviously is still connected to the gov - he seems to have inside info - also is jake awol?? why is he flagged on that website as being on a watchlist??
