put one of those shirt wit like a circle of bunch of colors on and those pants wit the peace sign in the backpoket and chanclas and a long wig and glases and a joint

Get colourful and baggy clothes. Bell bottoms would b a plus tho not necessary. Layer your clothes.
You can dye a white shirt or spray a big peace sign on the front with black spray paint. Keep some newspapers behind to keep it from staining the back of the shirt.
Wear big medallions on a chain that reaches mid chest. Check yahoo or ebay for ideas. You can make your own from cardboard too.

First, you have to have long hair. Then take the holiest pair of jeans that you own and patch them. Well, most of the holes. Go to a re-sale store and get a shirt. Or if you have an OLD T-shirt that you use to clean your car with,that will do. Now, see if your Grammy will let you use and old pair of glasses,without the glass part. Get a headband and the look is there. Shoes are beat-up sneakers or sandals. The words used most were cool and groovy. Have fun,I lived though those days,and I did!!!!

Go to a thrift store at a hospital and get you some hippie duds. They are the best places to find 60's and 70's cloths.

Purple/orange bell bottoms, same sort of to with slieves that get wide round the wrists, long hair worn untied except with a bandana round the head. And a medalion for peace and drive a Volkswagon minibus!

First wear a peace sign around your neck. Get a truck load of tight tattoes on, wear 60's glasses, dye your hair red, and call it a hippie uped day.

Get a tye-dye tee-shirt, a leather-fringe vest, and Levi super bells. Wear some Birkenstocks and a peace medallion. Also, wear a long hair wig.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I have short hair and guys just like it. And i prefer a man with short hair over a guy with long hair because long curly hair tends to make guys look too girly.

Wear a fringed jacket .If you have long hair that is great wear a headband. Wear bell bottoms . Gosh i wish i had saved some of mine .
