there are a few things you can do.
One is you can take your computer to a professional, probably the geek squad (I swear thats what they call themselves) at best buy or go to circuit city, and ask them about buying a new hard drive and having it installed. If you don't know much about the inner workings of computers this is definitely not something you want to attempt on your own.
Two, you could purchase an external hard drive. This is a hard drive that will hook up to a USB port or Firewire port and act as another drive, Most likely either D or E. In this case you can also go to one of the places I mentioned before and they should help you out. If you do get an externa, you probably want to get it big enough to house all of the data on your C drive and more, then have everything on C copied to it and keep C as free as possible, this will help your computer to run faster.
Cost wise, it depends how much space your looking at, or GB (which stands for gigabyte, MB for megabyte, you want GBs) and external hard drive with 200 GBs (or 200,000 mbs) can be purchased from somewhere around $100 and up. You can also try tigerdirect.com, I order a lot of stuff from them. Hope this helped.

Depending on your computer, you should be able to replace that C drive with a bigger one. Just copy the important files to a thumb drive or CD OR you can use the current C drive as a 2nd drive - then you'll have 2 drives which is pretty awesome. Keep your programs on the new one and put your data on the 2nd one. Not THAT pricey.....look on e-bay - Look on your motherboard specs or get on line - you may have limitations depending on how old your computer is and what OS your using.
