St. Thomas does not yet have legalized gambling, but there are video lottery machines in many bars and hotels. In addition, poker tournaments are held at several bars on various nights of the week. The bars do not get a take - you simply bet among the people at your table. There is legalized gambling on St. Croix and there is a casino there.

The only casino is on St. Croix. On St. Thomas, Iggie's (in bolongo Bay) Has Texas hold 'em every Monday night from 6-10. The buy-ins there start at $10 a game and there are 8 people at each table. Also, Pirate's Cove Bar (east end) has Texas Hold em on Saturday nights, but there you play for "Jack Daniel's Points" instead of real cash.
