It will permanently screw up your transmission. That is what I heard !
Even some web sites talking about it ! True or False ?

Just drop the pan and change the filter and add a can of Trans-X ought to be done about every 60,000 miles anyways.

Definitely would flush the tranny. It is just good preventative maintenance for the vehicle. You will get a longer life out of your tranny if done at the right intervals. Damage could be caused by old dirty fluids in it.

Depends on who does it and how.
A reputable shop with the correct Quality equipment will do no harm to it.
However, if you are in doubt, ask a REPUTABLE repair facility to change the filter and "service" the transmission. If there is harm here, it has already been done, and what is left is all that is left.

it has happened but usually there is a problem b4 something minor but it is usually in your best intrest to flush it out trans fluid is a detergent oil it cleans so when your soap is dirty don't u drain the sin and put in new

this depends on the maintenance history of this vehicle, if you don't know then do not do it. change the filter maybe but if this was regularly done then it should be fine. I guess more info would be needed to give you a better answer

Their just shittin you you can flush any fluids in the car. Well dont we have to piss well the car is the same, changing fluids will make it run better and last longer.

i own a repair shop,and it is true,,there not lying about it,i have had them in my shop that have been flushed out,and it has messed some of them up real good,,enough that i have had to replace some of them before,but its up to you,someone else will probably say it wont hurt it,it will be your choice,,good luck i hope this help,s.

it is like oil you must clean it and chan ge the screan at least once a year.if not it will cause slips and drags and yes it will cause damage after some time
