Listen up.
Prague is a "must".
If you go by car or whatever, the ALps in Austria are worthy of checking out (halstatt), then thal the village(near graz - birthplace of arnold schwarzenegger).
Southern bohemia (cesky krumlov - unesco, gothic town).
In croatia ?
Well island of Krk sucks, as well as northern coast, its overcrowded by tourists.
Dubrovnik and Sibenik are alright (quite historic), plitvicka jezera (plitvicky - lakes) are must - very nice, a lot of lakes with crystal clear water, some waterfalls, rocks, etc.. possibility of swimming (?). Island of Murter is small, not too known, basically nice place and you can take a trip by boat to kornati national park. Sharks in that area. There are some lagoons in southern croatia, i forgot the names, basically the most expensive places to go.
Rab (raab island) is alright, but nothing exceptional.
Those big islands down there (korcula, hvar etc.) are pretty rocky.Dont expect sand beaches in Croatia, actually.
Rakija (alcoholic drink - home made - similar to wine) is worth to try.

Split and Dubrovnik are the "must see" in Croatia.
You can take the train overnight from Prague to Budapest (I recommend stopping in Budapest for at least a day), then the train to Zagreb, and finally to Split. It's 22 hrs total from Prague to Split.
Then you could go to Dubrovnik by ship from Split.
