You don't say who is calling you. Is it friends, bill collectors? Just tell them last you heard he moved to another state. Have your number changed if it's that bad.

How about--very nicely--just changing the subject as if they'd never brought it up? DEFLECT. You'd be surprised how this stops people cold, where--"I wish you wouldn't" or "I'm way past that" won't stop someone who perseveres. Please don't let it "drive you crazy," it's not worth it. Did this person have any "connection" with your X & is just "fishing," or what do you think the motivation is? (If it's even worth pondering!)

That depends. "Who's calling you"?.

(New girlfriend/wife?) Tell her he's her responsibility now.
(Bill Collectors?) If you know his current address or phone number, give it to them.

You can also let your current boyfriend/husband answer the phone. Let him give this person a piece of his mind, and chances are, they will not call back anymore.

Well, you can change your phone number as your first step. Or move to a new place far away from those who know both you & your ex-husband.

The only honest way you are going to get this stopped, is to tell them straight up. I do not want to hear about my ex, so please do not call me anymore about him.
Be blunt and to the point. It may sound weird, but some people only know the word NO.

For starters go back to school and learn to use the spell check.

Tell them to stop calling and if they don't have your number changed, unlisted...

Do what I did ... I sent her his phone number and Mapquest directions and told her that if she wished to be his mommy ... she could get with him about applying for that position and to leave me out of it *lol*

It worked.

Tell the person this:

and I are divorced. Please don't call me about him again.

then hang up

if they call again tell them this

I asked you not to call me about this. I will involve a lawyer if this continues.

then hang up

If they call again, just hang up and call a lawyer.
