Including domestic abuse. At first, they wouldn't arrest the guy at all. Now they arrest them both & let the court sort it out. A guy with an ounce of pot gets more time in jail than someone who almost killed someone. What's wrong with this picture????

I totally agree with you. We've been subjected to so much violence that we've kind of become immune to it. A guy with an ounce of weed should only get a ticket, while the guy who abuses anyone should be locked up. Our justice system sucks in this country and needs a big overhaul.

I know there have been problems like this around me. The police say they are going to help, and then "domestic disputes are out of the question" even when it could have saved a life. WHich it would have. It's a tough call, a lot of times the cops only pay attention to what interests them, or they feel they can do. A lot don't do their full potential, and just back off and take an easier case that will still make them a "hero"

that is the American way !!! the rights of the offender must be defended at any cost... it is about stupid if you ask me, but....... God bless
