Stop posting the same damn question over and over. If you were in that much pain you would have gone to a doctor already instead of sitting on Yahoo Answers asking complete strangers for a diagnosis.

First of all, I'm sorry you're hurting.
Second - NO answer on this site can take the place of a doctor's exam. Only YOU know if you are hurting bad "enough" to be seen by a medical professional.
Last - I cracked a rib from COUGHING TOO HARD. It isn't that difficult to do (apparently). I had all the symtoms you listed - except that the pain was SEVERE and was constant. Sneezing brought me to my knees. I spent the $$ to be seen at the local walk-in clinic and was told that spending more money for an x-ray was pointless, because the exam itself was determination enough, and (much to my shock and dismay), there is no "treatment" for rib injuries (like cracks or fractures, assuming it isn't a compound fracture coming through your skin, god forbid). They don't tape your torso or anything like that anymore. The only thing that could be done (for me) was to give me a way-too-limited prescription for painkillers. My rib eventually healed, but, it took over 6 months before I was completely pain free (sorry to tell you).
Everyone heals differently and has varying levels of pain tolerance, so, you will be your own best judge as to how you're doing. I recommend that you be seen by a doctor to rule out anything more serious, and then prepare yourself for an extended period of being uncomfortable. You should probably lay off the football for the time being, to give your rib a chance to heal and not make the injury worse.
Sorry this isn't a very cheerful answer, but, rib injuries ARE painful and slow to heal; at least, this was my experience. Good luck with your recuperation.

Everything you describe here are symptoms of cracked ribs. Signs are what the doctor find (particularly number 3).
The fact that there is a small spot whenever you touch it causing really bad pain is suggestive of cracked ribs
The rest of it is either a torn muscle or a bruise.
You should take some pain relief if the pain is bad enough. (paracetamol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen if you are not allergic)
See a doctor if you think it is inhibiting your breathing.

With that pain you have either broken a rib or have dislocated it.
Go to the ER at the hospital and have a X-ray taken to find out if it is broken. If they tell you it is not broken go to a chiropractic doctor and have the crunch thing done to put it back in place.
One of my sons pulled a couple of vertebrae out which caused that pain due to the rib pressing on his lungs. With not breathing deeply enough he would pass out and have what looked like seizures.

I no someone that cracked a rib, and they had the same side affects as you.
i would go to the doctor.
and they can feel around in that area, and feel what is going on.
Your dr. might want u to have an x-ray. or your rob just might be bruised!!
Rest, take a relaxing bath, and take tylenol for pain!!!
Feel better!!!

-Sounds like it. Go to get them xrayed just in case though. There is not really much that can be done except wrapping them and really taking it easy. No more football for awhile. Also I think some ice may be in order. Just my opinion though. Had a few myself.

Always err on the side of caution. They might only be bruised, but check with a Doctor, and get an x-ray.

If you had a cracked rib trust me you would be in so much pain you think you were dying. You may just have a sore muscle. Take a warm bath, and then ice it for a few days.

JASON, I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR. IT MIGHT HELP IF YOU PUT AN ACE WRAP AROUND YOUR RIBS.
