What's "pass the parcel"?

Apparently a Halloween game -- someone's doing it with a pig's head, I guess. How do you play? Rules? Penalties?

OMG i love that game. me and my bestfriend played that game at every birthday party when we were little.Its when the host buys a party gift, and wrapes it 10 to 15 times, you sit in a circle and pass it around until the music stops, and the person that ends up with it unwrapes a layer. its goes on like that till somone ends up with the last layer, unwrapes it, and VaVoom...your prize.
