Visit your Dept of Social Services. They have many kids that need parent(s). There are ways they can help you financially if you qualify to be an adoptive parent. I started as a Foster parent and then adopted.

There is no easy way to adopt, and it is extremely expensive. You can't do it without a lawyer.
