You've been watching Mean Girls!
No, Hallowe'en is a much deeper holiday than that, but I wouldn't want to ruin your fun by talking about the souls of the dead wandering the night in search of their final rest.
Just buy some chocolate and let the scantily clad girls leap into your arms at the scary movie.....

You might have that statement confused just a bit,...how about, " It's an excuse for guys to dress up like sluts without being called queer...."
Whatever,...It's Halloween people just want to be free to have some fun in thier alter- ego for an evening.

I REALLY DO THINK SO...MY MOTHER WAS A HOOKER THE HALLOWEEN B4 LAST AND HER HUBBY WAS A PIMP... SHES 45 SO IT WAS KINDA DISCUSTING... THEN LAST YEAR SHE WENT AS A BIKER CHICK WEARING BUTTLESS PANTS :(
EVERY GIRL AROUND HERE LIKES TO DRESS UP AS PLAYNBOY BUNNIES OR HOOKERS... SO YEAH I THINK SOME PEOPLE TAKE IT AS A "I CAN DRESS SLUTTY HOLIDAY"

It shouldn't be! SOME or MOST, whatever you prefer, only dress that way because of low self esteem.

I have to say that I think that narrows the holiday down to far less than its original significance.
