because they think its a more popular category, but i think people generally go to categories they have more knowledge or opinion, or intrests on, so they can give good answers.!

No, it doesn't annoy me. I think some categories will support any question...like this category for instance. A while back, I asked a question about Yahoo and put it in the proper Yahoo category and got three answers. When I also put it in Polls and Surveys. I got many, many more answers, and I got my question answered to my satisfaction. If I see a question I don't like, I pass it.

It depends on the category. If someone puts a question in the 'entertainment' category that isn't really entertainment it's not too bad. However someone that purposely puts a joke question in a serious category like, say, cancer or mental health is very low in my opinion.

I do find it annoying...if you click on a category you only want to answer questions in that category, not something totally different.....thats like getting a math question after you clicked on Entertainment and music......its really annoying

Yes, that bothers me because it indicates a lack of not only attention but respect. I understand accidents happen & sometimes it's hard to know where to put a question & I'm not talking about those....they're obvious. I'm talking about the blatant disregard and misuse of the categories.

It doesn't annoy me. I usually don't even check to see the category, just the question.
