I have over 30 years in the restaurant bisness and I feel that it's time to pass what I know on to the next genaration.

I think that you have a couple of options. You could informally train people that you work with.

You could offer classes to groups of people (although they would likely not be future chefs, but rather random people that want to cook better at home).

If you want to work in a culinary school then I suggest that you contact a school near you. Tell them what you are interested in doing and they can let you know if there are any special requirements or perhaps you can even get an interview!

First you have to become a chef. Then you can start teaching at the local community college. Then you can move on to a larger school from there. I know someone who stopped after teaching at community college. The thing about teaching this trade, is that you can't just go to school to become a teacher. It's more important that you have restaurant experience as a chef. And then you teach that experience to the students. You don't have to have a teaching degree unless you'll be teaching HS students.
