Ok my best friend and i are insepreble and no one could come between us, well so i thought. Well I am bi (no one knows though,) and my best friend is straight. well my friend knows but i think he may be slightly uncomfortable with it. well rumors about us being gay together is starting to wear on us. should we or shouldn't we stop being friends.

Do you care more about these people spreading rumors or about your friend? People who go around spreading rumors don't have friends, they only have people who like to listen to their rumors. They are jealous of you because you two are inseparable and the only time they have anyone around them is to listen to their rumors.

You two should stay friends. He is your best friend which means no rumor or comment should come between the friendship it took the two of you so long to build for as long as you have. Ignore the rumors and live your life

Well, that's up to the both of you. Do you both(and I say both because it really isn't the decision for one to make if you are as close as you say) feel as though that your friendship means more to you, or will you allow petty rumors to tear you apart? People can and will be mean, for no real reason. Talk to him. Open up.
