When you reach the age of 18, all women need to see a gyno. It's important because you can still have problems with your reproductive organs even if you aren't having sex. Take care of your body. It's good to know that you are healthy and there are no problems. There could be problems down there that you don't even know about until you go to the gyno.

No, they will not break your hymen while examining you. Gyno's have so much more experience in woman issues. Just because you haven't had sex doesn't mean you shouldn't see a gyno. You wouldn't see your dentist for a knee injury would you?

The doctor will not break your hymen during an exam. As the previous posting states, it is important to start going at age 18 or whenever you begin having sex (whichever is sooner).

Here's what my doctor told me. If you have never been sexually active and are not having any problems, there is no reason for a pap smear. They might still do a pelvic exam.

you dont go to the gyno just for those reasons. You could have an infection, a cyst, cancer. It is good to get checked up, just for safty.

To make sure you don't have cancer. To make sure that everything is well inside and that your body is healthy. They can tell alot from a gyno. exam.

u do get periods regulatly don;t u sex is not the only reason women go toa gyn
