I've seen many questions removed for good reason.
Others make you scratch your head and wonder why.
Chatting and personal communication is taboo, they should remove half of them for that reason alone.

The thing is people already know that they are going to get 10 points for answering the question right. So there is no point in telling them that. People know the point system. And your right they all these type of question's you say to need to be removed. This is a question and answer website not a chatroom or a forum.

It is not fair in the least. There are some cases in which they should be, but that happens to us all. If it hasn't happened to someone, I get suspicious. People will report you for anything. I heard that someone reported for spelling errors! And if you get enough reports, you lose the Q and 10 points. And you're one step closer to losing your account.

I've seen what seemed like normal questions removed, yet nothing is done about the spam that keeps getting posted.

exactly, I have had an account made inactive after I questioned them and told them where to go because they removed a question of mine that was so innocent "do you use the term do you use dinner or supper". they are acting like facist. No it isn't fair that they removed your question, they are ruining a good thing being a bunch of assholes................. they don't even have the balls to tell me why...
