It seems like young and some oldsters are out for the marriage because their friends got married then so will I. Much to many divorces now at days because the couple didnot even marry for love but for the title. My parents generation stayed together for love and also because of the vow of marrying until death do you part no matter what. Marriage was a serious commitment and sadly is no longer with many of the young generation.

my parents generation was nothing but a bunch of hippies the divorce rate in America is at least 50% right now for people between the age of 30-45 my generation is headed for the same if not worse all anyone cares about is what a purson looks like or how good the sex is i'm lucky enough to say that i am confident that won't happen to me but as for my general generation the future is bleak

todays love, hmm you really can't tell. There is so much fake love its almost lust. Back in the dayz love was a thing where you knew cause you could see it in a couple without having to strain too hard to tell. Now you can't. Everyone looks at everyone and basically the respect is gone. I mean this isn't for EVERY COUPLE just the ones I know. lol

Love nowadays means much more than just a stable marriage or relationship, nowadays it's about passion and understanding, and all that "corny" stuff.

I think there were less temptations back then. Also, there was less tolerance of "other" things so people devoted their love to each other.
