Tokyo was great. I live in Japan and I am about an hour and a half north of Tokyo. It is a huge city with lots to do. If you know where to go, not so expensive either. I love the culture, the shrines, and the parks like the Imperial Palace and Meiji Park. The Tokyo Tower is amazing. The nightlife is also very fun.

Yes!, its an awesome city!! you must go to akihabara (technology district) and try all those goodies, video games, cell phones, and so. There's also plenty of stores (like macy's) but full of manga.
Be careful coz at some hours getting in the trains is a nightmare, don't forget to try those nuddles in every underground they're delicious, the tokyo tower isn't as fabulous as you may wish but it has a storey full of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain!!!

yes... it was awesome... girls there love americans... stayed in Tokoy in Shinjuku (aka the red light district)... also must try the hot springs in Hakone... you should at least know english, but not very helpful if you travel out of the metro areas... even in the metro areas, it's annoying if you don't speak a little japanese or can read chinese...
