This year my family is going through some rough times and I can't afford to buy my son a halloween costume. Does anyone have any suggestions of a costumes that we can make?

Does he have camo shorts or pants?
You can paint his face and make him an army guy. That was my brother's favorite costume as a kid.

Let him know about the Lone Ranger (from the Lone Ranger tv series). All you need: white cowboy hat, black mask, 2 toy guns, and 1 holster. He should have boots, a long sleeve cowboy shirt, and casual pants (they were black, of course, since the series was shown in black and white.).

a zit. take a white sheet and red food coloring. dye the bottom red/ pinkish and paint his face white. have a couple of bags of mayonnaise and have him ask people to hug him and when they do have him squirt the mayo out the face cutting. when they ask what he is he can say a zit. it's gross and cool at the same time.

Ghost? Just white sheets. Cut wholes for the eyes and your done. Or you can sew some stuff. Just be creative.

Yeah, thee ole Bum costume by using old ripped up clothes, etc,put vasoline on his face and apply coffee to make it look like stubble.
