To this day there has not been one person who can show me and many others a law that states I must pay my federal income tax. The IRS has refused to answer anyone either. This is not a conspiracy theory and if you say it is show me the law that says you have to pay.

Ah, 'Cool Hand Conspiracy Luke' is at it again.
Tell you what, kid, when you finally get a job, why don't you try not paying your taxes and find out for yourself if there's a law about that or not.

The 16th Amendment to the Constitution, ratified in 1913, clearly states that "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

Here's a great list of arguments and fallacies around this issue:

You indicated that you were not going to get into conspiracy theories--then in your response to Tonalc you jumped right in and got very wacko.

It is too bad people were suckered into amending the constituion to create this nightmare--but that is the reality.

My copy of the United States Constitution says the 16th amendment was ratified. Of course, the VFW printed it, so who knows if you trust those guys right.

They started taxes at the beggining of world war 2 to help pay for the war,the question shouldn't be whether it is illegal or not,the question should be is it good or bad for the country and why,i'm shure they have nothing to hide,as such intelectual people would not stoop to self justification :)

I've heard that too and I remember reading where you could get on a list to be tax exempt, but to this day I've never heard of anyone getting on the list for fear of the IRS coming after them.

It's be easier to just get your state representatives to support the Fair tax and abolish the IRS completely.
