yes it can tape the batteries together attach a wire to the + side with tape then one to the - then tape the + to the aluminum part of the bulb the - to the brass or copper nub on the bottom might have those backwards but it will light the bulb

Most bulbs can be lit with the 3 volts that you will get from 2x'D' batteries. Depending on their requirements, some will be dim and others brighter.

depends on the wattage of the bulb if it is low like a flash light it will work
