You all know how the Giltter movie was criticized very badly just wanna why people didn't give the movie the proper chance it deserved.

that movie was horrible. It made showgirls look oscar worthy. the story line was horrible and so was the acting. She can sing her butt of though.

A couple critics didn't like it, and well you know how the media does. A lot of people are dumb and act like they can't think for themselves and went along with the hype. They wanted to try and break Mariah but they didn't she only became stronger and better than ever. I agree with you the movie and her acting was not bad at all and I am not just saying this because I'm a big fan. I love the soundtrack people are haters thats all.

Thats really an interesting question, because I saw another movie that she did with I think Mira Somebody or other called Wise Girls or something like that and I thought she did a pretty ok job. I mean it wasnt oscar worthy or anything but I thought it definitely had a decent plot and she played an interesting enough character fairly well. As a matter of fact I really enjoyed her in the movie. Now, I havent seen Glitter but based on the fact that I think she did fairly well in that movie it couldnt have been a Gigli or anything...I'm glad someone finally said something about that. FINALLY!!!!

Because she didn't show some acting prowess,it's just the song that makes it attractive to viewers.But the soundtracck got in # 1 spot in different countries...Perhaps she should try heavy drama later such as the role of being a cancer patient...or a drug addict.Just for a change of image..

the producers spent alot of money to make that movie and because it didn't make alot of money but in fact lost money on the deal they bad mouthed it to put the blame on Mariah's acting instead of admitting the story line was a little wack and wasn't worth seeing....

Some can sing, some can act, few can do both. She's an amazing singer but perhaps she should stay on the audience side of the silver screen...
