Could I be growing my first wig if when I comb my hair,the comb seems to be full of glue and unnatural fibers?

Or maybe the perm I had (long since grown out) is finally growing out in a strange chemical way--because I used to have straight hair before the perm but it started growing in wavy after the perm . ..

my sister's hair grew in wavy after her perm as well.
