Your friend made out with you because he wanted to make out with someone and you were the one there. It is good that you both were not drunk, not just because you are 14 but that sometimes people do things they wish they hadn't when they are drunk. Some people are not really sure if they are gay, straight, or in-between until they are in there 20s. A lot of people who are really straight experiment when they are younger, and a lot of gay people experiment, too. If he is telling you he is not gay, believe him.

Making out with anyone doesn't mean a thing. It might in the future but its normal for some kids to experiment with their sexuality. After all how can you know you are one way or the other (IF you are not sure), without experiment with both genders?
I would let him feel the way he does and not push it. However, if you are gay, don't be surprised if he comes back to blame this on you once he starts feeling remorse.

If he's not , he's not. When I was 14 girls made out all the time at PJ parties. We were practicing how to make out with guys. Interest in same sex is pretty high right now and is, in a way, the in thing to do,..at least once. Curiousity about "gay" is pretty common right now and people want to try it on at least once. Who better to try it with than yur best friend.

lol, first of all, your only 14 and your drinking??? What the hell are u thinking?
Second of all, give it time, he probley doesnt know what he is, your to young to know for sure unless you have always known. If he has always known, and is supressing it for whatever reason, it may be until he is well into adulthood before he actually admits it to himself. Some kids these days know and admit it and come out, I think thats brave and strong, you should be proud of yourself. Some dont however, so be patient with him, and dont push the issue anymore, hes your best friend, try and keep it that way.

Wow when I was 14 , I think I was still playing with lego's or GI JOE or just really getting interested in sports , not making out with a member of the same sex , times sure have changed !

At fourteen people are very curious about their sexuality and aren't ever really sure. This is when hormones are raging and people get confused. Your friend very well may be straight and was just testing the waters.

were you high or stoned or drunk? i've heard that being on some substances makes you really sexually active, and people are more likely to do things they normally woldnt, like make out/have sex with someone who they arent usually sexually interested in. or jump off bridges. or hit someone in the face. you get the point?

Must have been exciting...especialy at that age...I remember my first time with my best friend.....You both are just exploring each others sexuality...My best friend is now married and we occassionally connect and talk about our early days and do eventually end up in bed....If your friend has been with you a few times, he the needs to admit he prefers to be with men rather than women...

You AND your bf are gay. Go to the Gay and Lesbian Community Center. They have groups for young people struggling to find their sexual identity. Good luck, you aren't alone..

He may be too afraid to admit he actually is. It's not an easy thing to come out with and say. His actions speak louder than words, give him time, dont push him and he will come out when he's ready.
