LOL@ the screwdriver! I went threw an extended and drawn out interview method with Toyota. By the second month, after the interviews, checks, and many others., I had but yet another interview with a GM. He requested me "Why will have to we rent you?" I truthfully spoke back "After going by way of this lengthy and drawn out interview method, I have come to peer how disorganized you're. On most sensible of that, your pay is horrendous for a Senior Engineer and your advantages are terrible. Why will have to I be just right for you?" I was once supplied the process the next day to come. I did not take it; I supposed the whole thing that I mentioned.

just by the fact that you're asking the question it means you're torn between family and duty and that's what the police are trying to determine -- whether you can handle a situation like this. these are the issues:
1) i urge you first to think of the dangers of drunk driving and take them seriously. would you rather see your mother injure or kill herself (or someone else) in an accident? first things first - get her off the road. if it's a recurring problem - get her help, but she doesn't get a pass. policemen and women are sworn to protect and serve the community. any drunk driver - even if it's your mother - is a threat to the safety of the community.
2) still treat mom with dignity but she should not get "special" treatment.

It's a psycology question. You should cite her, but that's not what you're supposed to say. Your answer should be that you would let her go and give her a safe ride home, becuase it's the truth and it's responible.

Give her a breathalyzer or call your dad to come & pick her up!

Seriously, call for backup to take yourself out of the situation.

I'd tell her I was so happy I got to her before the ambulance did. Phew! and it was close.
