i noticed a song called this on itunes

Ave maria is the traditional latin phrase meaning "hail Mary," as in the beginning of a catholic prayer to the virgin, which priests are fond of having people recite as pennance for their sins, as well as during certain ceremonies.

Ave Satani would then be "Hail Satan," and would probably be a reference to some prayer or ritual... but this sort of prayer or ritual would probably not be used in church...

It could be Italian for: 'ancestors satans'

I'm not sure though.
