I read a book and the author's last name was "Ng." Does anyone know how it's pronounced?

Funny you ask. I currently have a professor in college that has the last name Ng. The above posts are correct when saying it is a chinese name, since my prof is chinese! However, my professor's name is pronounced -ing as in making or playing.

Hope it helps!
