yes you can. it's simple. i'm sure you are familiar with the basic in installing hard drive. simply connect your sata drive as usual. make sure ide drives configured correctly (jumper setting/ide connection), using the same ide cable will be master and slave (recommended). use the sata drive as your primary hard drive because the performance is faster than ide.
