I'd like to think that under the right circumstances I am. I'm willing to help women where help is required and will do so at moderate (but not life or reputation treatining) expense to myself. But if a girl isn't looking for a gentleman I can be normal as well (which is technically still being a gentleman)

I'm not a man but in my opinion when a man says he is a gentleman then adds a but or an or after it, he is not a gentleman. A true gentleman don't wait for an invitation or any reason to be a gentleman.

It is not an act of proving it, is is what you value, your morals and willing to accept when you are wrong, be open minded, Gentlemen, open the car door for a woman first and then shuts it for her, he is considerate of her feelings and offers validation of them, he can be spontaneous and bring his partner flowers, pulls out her chair at a restaurant, does not let people talk down about her, shows interest in her life and growth, and is respectful of her, her choice of friends, and if married shows respect for her family (which truthfully may be hard on some men) He is intimate without being demanding. And when out in public he introduces his partners name as his wife. He offers her support in her life and lets her grow as a person...Do you yourself believe that you are a gentleman

Yes ma'am, I am a gentleman. And with no disrespect, a true gentleman does not need to prove anything. It just shows. Thank you for your question.

I am definitley a gentleman. I open and hold doors for women, I always let them go first or move out of the way so that they can get through. I also open the car door for them whenever I can get there fast enough.

Absolutely not. I make no apologies for the fact that I am primarily only interested in my own hedonistic self indulgent life. I may be polite most of the time, but I am far from a gentleman.

I try to be; however I can also be down right obnoxious if need be.

As to proving it that is no possible on line. I can only say that my girl friend and her friends all say that I am. The freinds want to trade their significant others for me or at least have me give them lessons.

I don't try to be. But I will hold a door open for someone, if there are like 2-3 feet behind me. If your further than that, hope it doesn't hit you on face.

I suppose I am, at that. I have no way to prove it, nor am I interested in trying.
