Which Serb is better? Ana Ivanovic or Jelena Jankovic?

There's no doubt about who is the better of the two at the moment anyway and that is Jelena Jankovic, why? Because she has been the player to watch on the womens circiut this season with defeats over several top ten players such as Svetlana Kuznetsova and Nicole Vadisova. I think there is only one way for her and that is up . Although I wouldn't take anything away from Anna of course she has a very bright future ahead of her indeed but at the moment she just isn't in the same league as Jelena. I suppose the positive to come out of this is that Serbia Montenegro have two talented players on the rise what a bonus!!

I would say Ivanovic is the better one at this point, but both
of them are very good players, even though Jankovic is higher
in the rankings. You have to remember Ivanovic is two years
younger, but in terms of progress, I think she is improving
at a faster rate, making her probably the better prospect.

I'd probably go with Ivanovic if she's fit like when she won Montreal although there was a depleted field at that tournament she still beat Hingis easily 6-3 6-2 in the final.Only a few players can beat Hingis like that. She is also the better looking of the two.
