Gotta be alcohol lost alot of freinds in their early thirties from serousus of the liver and I would rather put up with someone zoned out and or silly on weed than a beligerant drunk.

In highschool I actually did a report on Marijuana and it's effects on humans. It really isn't dangerous at all. No one has died from marijuana. Of course, you can't drive or operate heavy machinary while on it, but the same goes for alcohol. Alcohol causes more deaths, spousal abuse, rapes and beatings. Alcohol is definately more dangerous than marijuana hands down.

Alcohol
But I still think Marijuana is bad.
Here is why alcohol is worse :
1) does not cause car accidents
2) noone ever died from a spliff
3) noone caught cancer from a doobie
4) smoking joints have been used to help cancer patients from the effects of chemo
5) the bud does not = drunk driving accidents
6) you are not likely to suffer a blackout

Good question. I don't feel either one benefits us. No one drinks a beer, or a drink, just to satisfy their thirst. People drink alcoholic beverages for one purpose - to get a buzz. It's the same with pot. No one smokes pot for enjoyment, like they would a cigarette or cigar. They smoke it to get high. Now, some people can stop with one drink or one toke, and their performance isn't noticealby altered, but those people are few and far between. Since both alcohol and marijuana are mind-altering drugs I see no reason to consume either one.

Alcohol is worse. You don't get all obnoxious when you blaze up a doob, you don't wake up in some stranger's bed after a rough night of weed smoking, and you don't rot your liver out.
The worst thing you might do when you're high is eat all the ice cream or something!

Marijuana, because at least alcohol is LEGAL, unlike marijuana.

The marijuana, is supposedly worse, as it is referred to as a gateway drug. This means that it can lead to the use of more potent drugs, Coke, heroin, crack, etc:. By themselves the answer would be either depending upon the user.

Marijuana doesnt take long to damage your skin and other things. alcohol takes awhile to start damaging your body...
