Tobacco plant cells conaton a toxic chemical. Why don't tobacco plant cells posion themselves.

The target of the poison (I assume you are referring to nicotine) is nerve cells in animal -- specifically, those with "nicotinic" receptors.

As the tobacco plant does not have nerves, it is unaffected.

They are toxic to humans, not tobacco plants.
