(s*3 - 7) = 2*(-s) - 72
3s - 7 = -2s - 72
5s = -65, s = -13

7/16*w = 420, w = 420*16/7 = 60*16 = 960

numbers are n - 2, n, n + 2:
5*(n - 2 + n + 2) = 108 + 2*(-n)
10n = 108 - 2n, 12n = 108, n = 9, so 7, 9, 11 are the numbers

86 = N*20/100 = .2*N, 5*86 = 5*(.2N), 430 = N

56*340/100

Sir:
You asked five questions.
1.) Not sure what you mean by "opposite of the number"

2.) 7/16X = 420 so 1/16X = 60 and X = 16(60) = 960

3.) ?

4.) 86 = 0.20X so 86 / 0.20 = X and X = 430

5.) 56( 340 / 100 ) = X
56 ( 3.4 ) = X
X = 190.4

Regards (sorry about the unanswered ones)

particular you could label the variable x as width and length could be x + 12 make an equation 2x + 2(x+12) = 156 on account which you upload all facets to get perimeter then u resolve for x yielding the respond x = 33 = width x + 12 = 40 5 = length
