I just bought a new humidifier for my 4 month old, a Hunter Evaporative Humidifier, and I'm not sure whether or not it's working correctly. I used to own a Kenmore Warm Mist Humidifier, but they discontinued the filter for them. Anyways, with the Kenmore, I could feel the moisture it was putting out. This one feels as if a fan is blowing, neither warm nor cold. I did everything the directions asked about initial set-up, and let it run about 20 minutes on high. I don't feel any moisture. I'm also not sure whether it's a cool mist or what, because it doesn't specify. Is there any chance that it's working and I'm just expecting a different result?

If the instructions aren't helping then look on the box or in the instruction book for a 1800 or 1300 number. Best to know if there is a problem now.
Good luck.
