OK, I only asked this question because I've had this debate with a friend for about three days now. He says that casting Val Kilmer as Batman was a far better choice than Michael Keaton. I told him he's sick and should seek professional help. But anyway, what do you think was the worst casting decision for a superhero character? Who was the actor and who would you have chosen to replace them? For some reason, as far as bad goes, Electra comes to mind.

The ABSOLUTE worst was Ben Affleck as DareDevil. Affleck isn't a very good actor to begin with, and to cast him as a character who is supposed to be a blind superhero stretched his abilities far too thin.

George Clooney was a horrible Batman.
Val Kilmer was a horrible Batman. Michael Keaton was the only real Batman. The Punisher Rocked! Electra Rocked!!

Yep I agree Val Kilmer was a better choice than Michael Keaton. I realise he isn't a super hero but have you seen the guy they have got to play James Bond! Talk about casting error

All of the Batman's in the Tim Burton movies were awful (as well as the movies themselves).

Christian Bale was the best Batman / Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. I hope the Batman Begins movie begets several good sequels. Thank God someone in Hollywood corrected the ridiculous Edward ScissorHands approach to making Batman movies.

Excellent question. Best wishes to you.
