Ive had a webcam and MSN for 4 weeks.and I still cant work it. Would somebody please publish an old fashioned manual in plain English so that 100million people can retrieve their webcams from the kitchen drawer. Im going MAD !!!

I understand you are having problems using a Fusion Webcam with MSN Messenger...
Have you run the Video Tuning Tool in MSN?
To run the Video Tuning Tool, start MSN (it doesn't matter if there's no-one else online), and then go to Tools then Web Cam Settings (you may also want to have a look at Audio Video, though that's generally to control what you are receiving, whereas webcam is what you are sending).
Firewall settings sometimes restrict the webcam feed. I understand you can see your friend but he cannot see you so ask him to check his firewall settings (if he has a firewall). His computer may be blocking your webcam.

well you forgot to say whappens when u try to use the webcam
what version of windows
what errors u get
what have you tried already to fix the problem
eg have u tried reinstall the drivers for the webcam???
im not answering without these being answered.

you get a driver either off of the cd that came with the cam or u google the brandname and model number + driver and download it ... then after the driver is installed you punch the little button in your messenger that says "webcam" ...
