Tie-in books are not the same shows you see on tv, it's like a new show...

Elizabeth Peters is a very good author though I would stick to the Amelia Peabody Series if you are 17.

Agatha Christie writes the Miss Marple Series which are murder mysteries, but focus more on people than physical evidence.

Patricia Cromwell might be a little gruesome for a 17 yr old, but they are very good.

There are the teenage detective series "Nancy Drew" and "The Hardy Boys".

Browse the library shelves and pick something that looks interesting.

Have you read any of the Callahan Gariity series? I own a book called "Midnight Clear" and its a wonderful read. The book is 390 pgs. long and is written by Kathy Trocheck. I recommend it!

Books by Kathy Reichs are nice easy reading. They're fun forensic mysteries.
