One is trapping the black hole trap works well.
Two. You can use a product that is granular (looks like critter litter) with Castor oil in it and spread it on the lawn. You can get this a Lowes, Home Depot, etc, I've had good success with it.
Three a BT or bacillus called milky spore it is a natural way to kill the grubs that the moles like to feed on. This link is what stopped moles in my yard at the farm , click on animal repellents then mole and vole they have both the BT and caster oil. I got the caster oil product at lowes. I don't know a thing about how to get rid of moles, but not long ago friends of mine were just discussing about their mole problem in the garden this year.
Here is a link to a webpage that has a few (some strange) ideas of how to get rid of them. One is:

A. I read about this remedy for moles and my friend's yard had numerous tunnels. She obtained hair that had been cut from her hairdresser on a regular basis. The hair was stuffed down the tunnels in many locations in her yard and the moles have gone away. Apparently they hate the scent of human hair in their home.

go to wal-mart or some other dept. store and buy one of the windmills. usually around 25 dollars. place it in your yard and moles will leave. they cant stand the vibration it sends thru the ground. i was skeptical till i tried it in my yard. i havent had moles in 4 years now.

when you see it pushing up on the ground stick a screwdriver in as fast as possible, you'll either kill it or scare the crap out of it and it wont come back! I did it and I have no more moles in my yard, Good Luck

Don't do what I did. I put gasoline in the holes then lit it. Nearly blew up a gas line. Flames shot out, and there were loud booming noises.

It shook my wife in the house, and all the neighbors came running out.

Cheap, safe, and inexpensive. Buy family pack of "Juicy Fruit" gum. Remove paper but only unwrap half of stick, throw down in holes.People swear by it. The strong smell attracts them and eating the foil and gum kills them. Make sure it's Juicy Fruit.

You have to kill the sub-surface insects that they are feeding on. Call the local college/university agricultural extension service for probable identification of the [grubs, or other insects] and follow their recommendation for a spreadable insecticide.
